June 27. It was a beautiful weather, and I
was away from job. Thus I decided to go out and activate LAFF-062 Pollevann. A
suitable QTH was easy to find, I erected the antenna, and started to call.
However, the conditions were poor and
definitively far from QRP friendly. After 2.5 hours only 26 stations were
worked, and the bands had became more or less dead. Thus, this area will be
activated once more in the nearest future so that the required 44 QSOs are
reached. (Fortunately, it is only a 12-15 minutes’ drive from my QTH.)
