LA/OL-043 Buhammaren

I visited LA/OL-043 Buhammaren on  March 30 just before the winter-bonus season ended. I had hoped that most of the snow had gone. It hadn’t. It was 50-70 cm with mostly rotten snow, so it was a pretty hard ascension.

As usual, I used my FT817ND and a linked dipole. The weather and HF conditions were fair, and in the end it was 21 QSOs from 10 DXCCs in the log; 13 on 40 meter, and 8 on 30 meter. Among them were 5 S2S, all on 30 meter.

DXCCs: DL, EA, G, HB9, I, OH, ON, PA, S5, SP.

LA/OS-003 Tryvannshøgda

The winter-bonus season ends soon, and I haven’t activated LA/OS-003 this year. Thus, it was time for an activation before work. I used the usually equipment: FT-817ND and a linked dipole (BandHopper III). 

All QOSs were worked on 40 meter, which was in quite good condition. First 14 SSB QSOs came in the log, and the 16 CW QOSs were logged. 13 DXXCs were represented.
