The summit was activated on August 6. I parked at N 58 45.20, E 005 54,17. From the parking it was a relatively short
walk to the summit.
It was a quite heavy wind at the
summit (almost gale I guess), so it was difficult to erect the antenna (a
linked dipole). And the antenna was far from optimally mounted when it finally
came up. Half of the antenna was only 1-1.5 meter above ground. The other half around
2-4 meter. Nevertheless, 35 QSOs (22 CW, 13 SSB) were made on 20, 30, and 40
meter.
