LA/MR-155 Aksla

It’s fascinating with Aksla that it can be reached by foot from the city center of Ålesund.  I had only a little time in the morning to activate it, so therefore I preferred to drive to Aksla stadion. Then it is only a little walk to the summit. It was a really fine morning, calm, sunny, and around 15C.

Once again I sued the HB-1B, but today I preferred to use a GP, simply because it was much easier to put up.  The rig was the HB-1B.

24 QSOs from 11 DXCCs came in the log in 30 minutes.

LA/MR-155 Aksla

Aksla is a summit which can be easily reached by foot from the city center of Ålseund! I started however at the parking lot of Aksla Stadion, which is relatively close to the summit. The view from the summit is really beautiful.

I used a YouKits HB-1B and a “wire-GP” cut for 20 meter for this activation. 18 QSOs from 11 DXCCs came in the log in a relatively short time.
