LA/RL-106 Sjurvenuten

The summit was activated on August 6. I parked at N 58 45.20, E 005 54,17. From the parking it was a relatively short walk to the summit.

It was a quite heavy wind at the summit (almost gale I guess), so it was difficult to erect the antenna (a linked dipole). And the antenna was far from optimally mounted when it finally came up. Half of the antenna was only 1-1.5 meter above ground. The other half around 2-4 meter. Nevertheless, 35 QSOs (22 CW, 13 SSB) were made on 20, 30, and 40 meter.

LB/OL-001 Storhaugen

A short afternoon / early evening activation on July 27.

I used the HB-1B rig and a linked dipole. Totally 9 QSOs were made in a relatively short time on 20, 30, and 40 meter.

LB/OS-001 Grønliåsen

On July 7 I activated LB/OS-001 Grønliåsen again during the 2 meter activity contest. 15 QSOs were obtained; best QRG was SM7DTE in JO75cn (514km). After 2 hours, it started to rain, and my battery was empty. Thus, it was time to go QRT.

LAFF-062 Pollevann

June 27. It was a beautiful weather, and I was away from job. Thus I decided to go out and activate LAFF-062 Pollevann. A suitable QTH was easy to find, I erected the antenna, and started to call.

However, the conditions were poor and definitively far from QRP friendly. After 2.5 hours only 26 stations were worked, and the bands had became more or less dead. Thus, this area will be activated once more in the nearest future so that the required 44 QSOs are reached. (Fortunately, it is only a 12-15 minutes’ drive from my QTH.)

LA/OL-184 Kvitberget

The last summit to be activated during this weekend was LA/OL-184 Kvitberget. Totally, I got 32 QSOs on 20 meter SSB and 20/30 meter CW.

LA/OL-181 Feforkampen

After descended from LA/OL-100, I moved over to Feforkampen, LA/OL-181. 18 QSOs came in the log on 20 meter SSB and 30 meter CW.
