LA/RL-046 Urdalsnipa

This activation was my first activation of LA/RL-046 Urdalsnipa. I parked at 58.6161 N, 5.9213 E. From the parking I simply followed a road to the summit. For this activation I used a HB-1B and GP for 20 meter. I got 21 QSOs from 10 DXCCs.

LA/OL-184 Kvitberget

The second summit on the second day was LA/OL-184 Kvitberget. When switching on the radio, I discovered that the power had been 2.5 W for the three previous activations. Thus, I increased it to 5 W. The conditions were still very good, and I had 36 QSOs from 13 DXCCs, And four of them were S2S.

LA/OL-181 Feforkampen

LA/OL-181 Feforkampen was the first summit on the second day. Cloudy weather, but really great HF conditions. Still I used 2.5 W, but I got 39 QSOs from 17 DXCCs in the log. One was S2S.

LA/OL-263 Nårkampen

Nårkampen was the second summit for the day. The conditions were still fine, and stilled I used only 2.5 W. I got 17 QSOs from 12 DXCCs, one S2S.

LA/OL-200 Segalstadsæterkampen

On July 8 and 9, I had planned four activations. For all of them I used a FT-817 ND and a quarter wave GP for 20 M (a wire on a 6 meter fiberglass pole). LA/OL-200 was the first. It is quite easy the reach the summit and the view is beautiful. The conditions were fine. Somehow, I had managed to reduce the power to 2.5 W. Nevertheless, I ended up with 23 QSOs from 10 DXCCs, two of them were S2S.

LB/OL-002 Larvehei

 

A short evening activation to nearby summit from our cabin. The conditions were quite poor, but I ended up with five QSOs in the log.
